You are made to move! So join our Made to Move Challenge and finish 2022 feeling great!
The Challenge runs from 10/1 through 12/31. We are kicking it off with a free class on either 9/30 or 10/1 to help you get started!
The Made to Move Challenge is FREE for the whole community, and the perfect thing to do with a few friends! The goal is to complete two daily activities to help you move more, and feel awesome:
at least 30 minutes of walking
at least 15 minutes of self-massage rollouts
If you are already training, committing to these daily activities will boost your recovery and athletic performance. If it's been a while since you've exercised regularly, this is a perfect way to ease into it!
A regular walking routine has been scientifically proven to improve joint, cardiovascular, and brain health, as well as boost your immune system, improve your moods, reduce stress and improve sleep quality. Self-massage will not only help relieve muscle tension and soreness, but also encourage tissues to be both supple and strong so you can move and feel your best.
Challenge Details and Prizes!
Non-members who complete the Challenge will win a 30 day VIP Pass for a custom program and semi-private coaching at Breakthrough. Current members will receive an exclusive t-shirt. We will also be announcing special bonus prizes throughout the Challenge to help keep everyone motivated!
The goal is to complete the two daily tasks of 30 minutes of walking and 15 minutes of self-massage at least 70 days during the three months of the Challenge. We will provide a tracking sheet for you to monitor your progress, and we will have a big board up in the gym for Breakthrough members to see how your teammates are doing and cheer each other on!
To qualify for the prizes, you must do a walking post and a rollout post on Instagram or Facebook each week on two separate days, tag Breakthough, and use the hashtag #breakthroughm2m in your post. A quick post into your stories is perfect for this. It's all about getting the word out there that self-care can be as simple as a quick walk or rollout!
We know how busy and unpredictable life can be, so if you don't think you can walk 30 minutes all at once, you can break up the time into a morning and evening walk, for example. Self-massage also works great as a quick 5 minute break from long periods of sitting, so you can break up the rollouts too. While we are definitely in favor of the walking taking place outside as much as you can, using a treadmill also works.
To help you get started, we are offering two free classes that will teach you how to massage your body from head to toe using Yoga Tune Up Therapy Balls. You will need to have your own therapy balls for this class, but if you don't have them, we will have them available to purchase for $15.28. The classes will take place on Friday 9/30 at 6pm and Saturday 10/1 at 10:30am.
